In
one of his earliest appearances on television, Bobby Van opens
with a rousing dance routine done to his backup band ... a
group of female banjo players! His second skit-dance number
is that of a young man who goes into a soda shop to use the
pay phone to call his girlfriend. The long distance call takes
some time while the operator keeps trying the number. In between
checking on the progress of the call, Bobby gets involved
dancing with the other patrons until he is too pooped to talk!
